Conformance Check for Clinical Pathways Based on Process Mining

临床路径挖掘和分析旨在通过分析临床路径事件日志,发现其中隐藏的知识和模式,辅助临床路径的设计与改进。采用流程挖掘技术,以大量的临床数据为对象,挖掘事件间的关系和诊疗流程模型,深入分析临床路径的实际执行情况。结肠癌临床路径的一致性检验实验结果显示,该方法可以有效评估临床路径实际执行情况,发现路径表达和执行时的不规范、不合理的地方,为临床路径的持续优化提供合理的建议和依据。

Clinical pathway mining and analysis is a beneficial and effective management tool that aims at discovering latent rules and knowledge of patient treatment processes, supporting experts to implement and improve clinical pathways. This paper introduce a process mining based methodology that can be applied to clinical treatment process data to discover latent critial/essital medical behaviors, and to verify the applicability and provide advices for optimization of clinical pathways. The experimental results on colon cancer pathway indicate that process mining based approach is feasible to evaluate the actual treatment processes, to check the anormalous behaviours in clinical pathway modeling and execution, with the ultimate purpose of clinical pathway improvement continuously.
