摘要
水性光固化涂料已解决了使用传统紫外光固化涂料所释放VOC的问题,而环保型涂料所遭遇的挑战之一,是需要光稳定剂来保护涂料预防光劣化产生。针对水性光固化涂料开发了一种新型复配型光稳定剂EVERSORB AQ7,试验结果显示:针对3种不同类型光稳定剂添加至2种不同类型溶液-水和水性光固化树脂中进行分散过滤试验,EVERSORB AQ7分散效果最好,并且不会对光固化速度产生负效冲击,另外根据实验室人工加速老化试验结果显示,增加EVERSORB AQ7在水性光固化涂料中的有效浓度,可以增强相对的保护效果,增加涂料的膜厚可以得到某种程度的保护效果。
Waterborne UV curable coatings - the green coatings - have been developed to replace conventional UV curable coatings with VOC emissions. It could be a challenge when light stabilizers are required to protect coatings to UV degradation.EVERSORB~ AQ7, a blend of UV absorber and HALS, is developed specifically for waterborne UV curable coats. This paper is a comparison study of three different light stabilizers to disperse in water and waterborne epoxy coating. Design of Experiment (DOE) was used in this study. Test data showed that EVERSORB~ AQ7 in a waterborne clear UV curable coating would not have negative impacts to cure speed. The results confirmed that by increasing the concentration of EVERSORB~ AQ7 in the top coat can effectively protect from UV light degradation. Furthermore, data also showed that by increasing the coating thickness, the weather- ability of coating can also be improved to some degrees.
