石英是猫岭矿区最主要的脉石矿物,又是重要的载金矿物之一,矿化与硅化具有高度的相关性,主要工业矿体就产在硅化最强烈地段.因此,研究石英的标型特征,了解其成因,有助于研究金矿床成因及找矿标志,有着重要的实际意义.

The quartz in the Maoling mining area is the chiefest gangue mineral as well as an important carrier mineral of gold. Mineralizat on and s licification have a high correlativity with each other. Major commercial ore todies are located at the most intensely silicified section of the mining area. Thus, A study of typomorphic characte ist cs and origin of the quartz in the deposit gold has an important and practical sign ficance because it is helpful for getting a clear understanding cf genesis and exploration guides of the deposit.
