历史城市保护方法一探:从古代城市地图发见——以南京明城墙保护总体规划的核心问题为例

Exploring Protection Methods on the Historic Cities from Ancient City Maps:A Case Study of the essential Questions of the Conservation Master Plan for the Nanjing Ming City Wall

对于历史城市而言,保护规划的核心工作之一是对保护对象作保护和控制地带划线并进行建设控制。但如此保护下来的本体除了传承和可观,是先人在城市规划、设计和建造时最重视和最有创意的内容吗?本文以南京明城墙保护总体规划为例,从古代城市地图发见,洞悉先人的创造智慧,独辟蹊径提出:历史城市存有的"智慧"、"体系"和"思想"是保护的关键。从而在划线方法、保护策略及具体操作层面进行创新,为历史城市保护方法一探。

For the historic cities, one of the kernel matters for the protection planning is zoning, define the sections to be protected and the area for limited construction activities. However, which one is more important？ The object to be protected or the wisdom embedded in the city？ This paper attempts to have a clear knowledge finding from ancient city maps and the case of the Conservation Master Plan for the Nanjing Ming City Wall. This paper argues that the key for the historic cities is protecting the system, the wisdom and the thought embedded in ancient cities. So, the protection methods of zoning,strategies and related measures should be innovated to accomplish the protection.
