Community educators is the core force of community education, community educators professionalization helps to improve the professional quality of community educators, which plays a critical role in the development of community education. America is the country with higher development level of community education in the world, and the professional characteristics of the community educators are distinctive. This paper analyses the professional guarantee system, professional organizations, professional training, professional qualifications and professional moral experience of America, through explaining the professional characteristics of American community educators, and then explores the enlightenment to community educators＇ professionalization in China.
