摘要
通过关键期假说、学习动机、学习策略、母语迁移等方面的分析,提出儿童时期进行英语学习有利也有弊.利在语音模仿、课堂参与及互动、受母语负面影响较少等;弊在主要集中于语音及中介语的石化,对母语理解的欠缺及学习策略消极等方面.在此基础上指出应根据实际教学条件合理安排英语学习者的起步时间,以达到最佳效果.
Through analysis from aspects of critical period hypothesis, learning motivation, learning strategy and mother tongue transfer, this paper puts forward that learning English as foreign language in one's childhood has its advantages and disadvantages. The former mainly lie in phonetic imitation, involvement in class interaction, and less negative language transfer from mother tongue. The latter are mostly concerned about the fossilization of phonetics, the lack of understanding of mother language, and passive use of leaning strategies. Based on that, it con- cludes that we should arrange the start-up time of English learning according to actual teaching conditions to achieve best effect.
