摘要
从系统功能语言学出发对名物化进行分析和理解,选取两篇具体的法律英语文本,对语篇进行量化研究。通过分析英语法律语篇的文体特点,导出名物化与英语法律语篇的密切联系,阐述名物化在英语法律语篇中的压缩、语篇衔接、强化客观和不可协商性三大功能。
Based on Halliday＇ s Systemic - functional Grammar Theory, here makes an analysis on nominalization in two English legal discourses by the route to quantitative research. The three major functions of nominalization are encapsulation, textual cohesion, factuality and non--negociability, which is resulted from the close relationship between nominalization and English legal discourses.
