地方高校英语教师专业发展的瓶颈与对策

College English Teachers'Professional Development Bottleneck and Countermeasure

摘要 地方高校英语教师专业发展的瓶颈主要有学科知识薄弱,教学压力大,缺乏高素质复合型英语教师,科研环境和整体生态环境差以及教学研究能力不强等问题。文章提出通过确立外语教育学科地位、教育行政管理部门成立管理机构、走复合型教师专业发展之路、改善教师整体生态环境等对策促进地方高校英语教师专业发展。 English teachers' professional development bottleneck lies in the weakness of subject knowledge, heavy teaching pressure, lack of qualified composite type teachers and good overall ecological environment factors, etc. In order to promote the professional development of English teachers in local univer sities, the author suggests that we establish subject position of foreign language, set up a management mechanism in every educational administrative department, encourage teachers to be composite type teachers and improve teachers'overall ecological environment and so on.
