二战前后槟榔屿潮州会馆组织结构的变迁——以1947年会馆修改章程为案例

The Evolution of the Organizational Structure of Penang Teochew Association around World War Ⅱ:Take its Amendments of Rules in 1947 as the Case

第二次世界大战之前,槟榔屿潮州会馆的组织结构实行的是信理员领导下的总理负责制。二战之后,马来亚华人社会经历剧烈的变迁,潮州会馆旧有的组织结构已无法满足会馆发展的需要。面对新环境的要求,会馆全体同人于1947年通过修改章程,改革了会馆的组织结构,新章程所确定的三级制原则,扩大了潮州会馆的权力基础,适应了时代发展的潮流。

Before the Second World War,the organizational structure of Penang Teochew Association adopted the two-stage system,and the decision-making authority is controlled by trustors and other leaders.After the war,the overseas Chinese Society in Malaya has experienced drastic changes.In order to adapt to the new environment,Teochew Association amended its articles in 1947 and decided to implement the three-stage system.The new system has expanded the power base and has promoted the development of association as well.
