试论中西革命爱情观的异同——以《双城记》和《芙蓉镇》为例

Differences and Similarities between Eastern and Western Views of Love——A Tale of Two Cities and Hibiscus Town

革命和爱情是人物成长小说中常见的题材,《双城记》和《芙蓉镇》两部看似不相关的小说都涉及到了革命腥风血雨中的爱情故事,主人公的情感历程都透出了作家对特定时代下人们境遇的思考,其中人物的爱情命运的不同与作者爱情观和中西方文化传统中价值观念的差异是相关的。

As the common subjects of character novels, revolution and love are both involved in A Tale of Two Cities and Hibiscus Town, which seem to have no connection with each other. This paper gives a brief introduction to different authors＇ reflections on human beings in certain time. The aim of this study is to prove that the differences of visions of love are related to the differences between Chinese traditional culture value and western traditional culture.
