Cultural Choices during Rejuvenation of Chinese Nation

要实现中华民族的伟大复兴,建设社会主义文化强国,必须在马克思主义中国化的过程中做出正确的文化选择。一是要选择互惠共赢的文化模式,二是要选择以人为本的价值取向,三是要选择与时俱进的文化品格,四是要选择"百花齐放,百家争鸣"的文化方针。只有这样,中国文化才能立足本土,走向世界。

For the purposes of realization of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and building a powerful, socialist, culture-oriented country, proper cultural choices have to be made during the process of adapting Marxism to conditions in China. Proper cultural choices include the adoption of a mutually beneficial and win-win cultural pattern, people-oriented values, the cultural character of keeping pace with the times, and the cultural policy of ＂letting a hundred flowers blossom and letting a hundred schools of thought contend＂. Only in this way can Chinese culture be based on China itself and enhance its world influence.
