摘要
为有效解决大学英语教学的诸多问题,提出了当前大学英语教学的重新定位,认为教师是EGP英语教学向ESP英语教学转型的关键因素;ESP英语教师必须具备信息化职业素养和CBI教学素养,提高综合文化素质,适应高等教育国际化的新形势需要,促进大学英语教学的可持续性发展。
In order to effectively deal with the increasing problems in college English teaching, the reorientation of current college English teaching (CET) is mainly discussed, regarding teacher as the critical factor of ESP(English for Specific Purposes)reorientation of college English from the traditional EGP(English for General Purposes)orientation. From the aspects of Information based and CBI-hased (Content based instruction )Competence, the paper analyses the essential qualities of ESP English teachers, which enable them to adapt to the internationalized new situation of higher education, enhancing the overall cultural accomplishments, as well as facilitating the sustainable development of CET.
