苏格拉底 “问答法”对培养大学生批判性思维的启示——以商务英语写作教学为例

Enlightenment from Socrates’Philosophy in Developing College Students’Critical Thinking—Based on Business English Writing Teaching

批判性思维是一种辩证思维形态,也是国际高等教育培养的核心目标,如何培养大学生批判性思维成为当前研究热点。英语教学中,应善于借鉴苏格拉底的哲学思想,有意识地培养学生的批判性思维能力。文中以商务英语写作教学为例,采用三层次的教学方法来促进学生批判性思维的培养,即苏格拉底式问答、批判性讨论和批判性写作。

Critical thinking is a way of dialectical thinking and the central purpose of international higher education. How to develop college students＇ critical thinking has become a major issue. In college English teaching, enlightened by Socrates＇ philosophy, the teacher should have the awareness of developing the students＇ critical thinking. Based on Business English writing, the paper explores 3-layer teaching method which includes Socratic question-and-answer, critical discussion and critical writing.
