Construction and Main Application Technology of Virtual Campus

虚拟校园是现实校园景观在计算机中的真实再现,是虚拟现实技术、计算机技术、地理信息系统、图形图像技术等多种技术在数字校园的综合应用。阐述了虚拟校园的基本内涵和国内外研究现状,详述了虚拟校园建设的基本原理和采用的关键技术,以期为虚拟校园的建设者提供有益的参考。

Virtual campus is the depicting of campus landscape in the computer,by the comprehensive application of virtual reality technology,computer technology,geographic information systems,graphics and image technology.In this paper,the basic connotation and construction status of virtual campus were described,as well as the basic principle and some key technologies,in order to provide a beneficial reference for the constructor of virtual campus.
