作为“4．20”芦山地震中心区域最大的芦山县人民医院，在“第一时段”启动了应急预案，成立医学救援现场指挥中心，检伤分类，抢救伤病员。随着四川省及国家卫生部有关负责人的到达，仍以此指挥中心为基地，按属地受理原则，将军、地前来支援的救援队统一安排，迅速投入抢救。一周后，工作重点转入卫生防疫，医院于震后10d恢复门急诊，1月后工作完全进入常态。

At 8：02 am on April 20 a strong earthquake measured 6.7 on the Richter scale hit Lushan County, Sichuan Province, As the biggest hospital in this area, the Lushan People＇s Hospital initiated the contingency plan in the first time. An on-scene commanding center was established to organize the triage and rescue of the sick and the wounded. After the arrival of the responsible persons from the Sichuan Province and Ministry of Health, the work of different rescue teams from both the army and the civilian units was arranged uniformly according to the territorial principle and with the commanding center as base so as to facilitate the medical professionals to participate in the rescue rapidly. One week later, the focus of medical work was shifted to health and epidemic prevention. The outpatient and emergency services were restored in the County Hospital 10 days after the quake, and 1 month later the work of the hospital became completely normal
