In the one month after Chinese New Year, several major cities of China in temas of its pig breeding industry such as Jiangsu,Xuzhou, and in the surrounding area, Shandong, Anhui and Henan confronted with sluggish market. Until mid of March, price of piglets and finishing pigs in Xuzhou dropped 19 percent and 14 percent respectively. Pig breeding industry entered into a stage of overall loss.
