The change of deep expansive soil channel of Cixian County in the Middle Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is a typical example,which is discussed in this article to expatiate price adjustment of large-scale diversion project. The adjustment must reflect the influence of market competition, and consider the influence of market, economic and Legal reLationship. The most rea- sonable price is to follow the market-set principles and based on construction contract, which can safeguard interests of both contractors and de- velopers and promote construction.
