摘要
五四文学革命不仅是一场以个性精神反叛传统观念的思想革命,同时也是一场深刻的审美与艺术革命。在这场艺术革命中,五四乡土小说家有着突出的表现,尤其是其死亡叙事以悲剧表现死亡,完成了对传统死亡表现艺术的颠覆。这种悲剧风格的表现方式不仅丰富了死亡的表现形式,提供了审视死亡的另一视角,而且也在一定意义上促使中国人改变回避死亡的民族心态,以积极的态度思考死亡,从直面死亡的勇气中使生命意志得到升华。
