浅谈杜威的教育思想对现代高职英语教学的影响

摘要 近几年来,随着国家对高职教育的日渐重视,各大高职院校都在不同程度地进行着各自办学理念的更新和办学模式的创新,结合教育部有关高职教育的若干文件精神,许多高职院校对其各个专业的课程设置及人才培养方案的制定均提出了更高的要求,突出了理论与实践的联系,强调“工学结合”和“从做中学”的办学思想。本文从美国教育家杜威(John Dewey,1859—1952)的教育思想和教学理论入手,讨论在高职英语教学中如何贯彻“从做中学”的教学理念,把情景模拟、角色模拟、配音模拟等教学方法应用到高职英语教学中,从而实现理论与实践的有机统一。 More attention has been giving to vocational education in China these years. Most higher vocational col-leges are updating their school - running idea and innovating their education mode. Based on the spirit of the docu-ments issued by Ministry of education, most colleges have put forward higher requirements for the setting of profes-sional courses and talents training scheme. It highlights the connection between theory and practice, emphasizes the school- running ides of " work -integrated learning" and " learning by doing". According to the educational thought and teaching theory of American educator Dewey (John Dewey, 1859 - 1952), how to carry out the " learning by doing" teaching philosophy in Higher Vocational English teaching is discussed in this paper. By apply-ing the teaching methods of scenario simulation, the role of simulation, simulation and etc. , so as to realize the u-nity of theory and practice.
