Taking various measures to guarantee sustainable and stable supply of energy

近年来,区域性、时段性能源供应偏紧时有发生。究其根本,主要是粗放型发展方式和体制机制尚待完善的深层次矛盾引发的能源需求过快增长。分析影响能源供需平衡的主要障碍和能源供应偏紧的深层次原因,指出能源行业必须积极应对、多措并举,处理好增加能源有效供给与加强需求侧管理、合理控制能源消费总量的关系,以保障能源持续稳定供应。

In recent years, regional and seasonal shortage of energy supply occurred frequently. In the final analysis, the main reason is the excessive growth of energy demand caused by extensive mode of development and deep-seated contradiction of institution and mechanism imperfection. The main obstruction influencing the balance of supply and demand of energy and the deep-seated causes of shortage of energy supply are analyzed, and it is pointed out that energy industry must face the situation actively and taking various measures to properly deal with the relationship between increasing effective energy supply, enhancing demand-side management, and controling total energy consumption, in order to guarantee sustainable and stable supply of energy.
