Securing water safety of Haihe River Basin through optimized water allocation

海河流域严重短缺的水资源形势与其特殊而重要的地理位置不相匹配,保障供水安全是流域水利工作的重中之重。依据国务院近期批复实施的《海河流域综合规划》,全面分析了流域水资源开发利用现状,梳理了海河流域水资源配置思路,提出了海河流域水资源配置方案,勾画了"二纵六横"的水资源配置工程体系,明确了加强流域水资源管理的措施。

Special and critical position of Haihe River Basin has been weakened by increasing scarcity of water resources and securing water safety has turned to be the top priority of water management in the basin. The current situation of water utilization and development is reviewed and strategic measures are worked out for optimizing water allocation in accordance with the recently approved Master Plan of Haihe River Basin of the State Council. A network of linking two water diversion channels with six river systems are planned with concrete measures for strengthening water resources management in the basin.
