Construction of University Library Website: Case study of Guangxi University of Science and Technology Library

通过调查,总结了高校教学科研人员信息查询行为的8个普遍特点,分析了当前高校图书馆网站在资源揭示与服务方面存在着不能令教学科研人员满意的问题,指出提供强大的检索功能、强化资源导航与整合功能、加强与用户的沟通互动是当前高校图书馆网站提高服务水平的努力方向。

On the basis of investigation, the paper summarizes eight common features of information inquiry of teacher and re- searcher in university, analyzes some defects on resources reveal and service in current library website, and points out that library web- site should improve service in the direction of providing powerful retrieval function reinforced resource navigation and integration func- tion, and enhancing interaction and communication with user.
