现时期我国经济与社会发展过程中,诚信缺失现象十分普遍,给我国经济社会生活带来了严重的危害。诚信缺失已经成为制约我国社会主义市场经济高效快速发展的一个瓶颈,成为阻碍我国社会文明建设的主要因素。在以市场经济为基础的现代社会中,诚信缺失有其深刻的社会根源。考察和分析诚信缺失的社会根源,有助于我们为遏制诚信缺失现象不断泛化的趋势提供行之有效的治理方案。

The lack of honesty and credit is very prevalent during the economic and social development in current China. It has caused some serious and harmful effects on Chinese society and economy. The lack of honesty and credit has become not only the bottleneck of the rapid and efficient development of socialist market economy, but also a major factor hindering the colastruction of social civilization in China today. In the modem society based on market economy, the lack of honesty and credit has some deep social sources. The investigation and analysis of these social sources are conducive to supply some effective plans for curbing the deteriorating trend of the lack of credit.
