民主监督是人民政协的三大职能之一,它随着民主政治建设的实践不断深化而逐步向前推进。新时期增强政协民主监督的实效性是各级政协面临的重要课题,应针对民主监督的制约因素提出相应的改进措施:不断强化民主监督意识;完善民主监督机制;健全民主监督保障机制;实现民主监督形式的有效结合;改进民主监督的方法。

Democratic supervision is one of the 3 functions of CPPCC. It goes ahead with the deepening of the democratic po- litical building. In the new period, the effectiveness of the CPPCC democratic supervision is the important work we must face. To the restrictive factors of the democratic supervision, some measures are given in the paper： strengthening the democratic su- pervision ; perfecting the mechanism of supervision and guarantee; improving ways of democratic.
