The Inherent Confusion in Public Communications-rethinking on Habermas' Political Theory

哈贝马斯在其著作《在事实与规范之间》中系统论述了其政治思想,他期望以商谈作为一种媒介来构成民主与法治国的理论依据和实现方法。总体看来,哈贝马斯对商谈的政治作用的刻画基于两个方面:一方面是商谈在社会生活中逐渐表现出来的工具作用,另一方面是公众在现实政治生活当中的政治参与和理性思考。但是,也正是这两点对商谈实际作用的发挥带来一些不确定因素。

Jurgen Habermas gave a systematic exposition about his political ideology in Between Facts and Norms. He expected to regard communication as a medium or a basis and means to realize democracy and the rule of law. In general, Habermas depicts the role of communication on politic bases in two aspects ： one is to discuss the role of communication as a tool in social life, the other is to show the public political participation and rational thinking in real political life. However, these two points can also bring about some uncertainties to the role of communication.
