With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of China＇s economy, the need for interdisciplinary talents is increasing rapidly and importance is attached to the ESP courses that stress the use of English for specific purposes. By answering questions of why, what, how, who and when, the author analyzes the key factors for the ESP course construction including purpose of the course,teaching content,faculty construction,teaching method, proper time for the course and textbook development.
