殖民医学视野下清末上海公共卫生意识的变迁

Shanghai Public Health Awareness Vicissitudes in Late Qing Dynasty from Colonial Medical Perspective

通过梳理、分析清末上海地区卫生相关文献,再现了清末华洋卫生意识冲突与妥协的部分场景,探究了导致冲突及结局的原因,认为卫生意识的改变主要来自两方面的推动:经济利益和社会结构。由于殖民医学本身的局限性、短暂性及利己性,决定了清末上海地区公共卫生意识的"近代化"不够彻底的结局。

The related medical literatures of Shanghai area in late Qing Dynasty were collected and analyzed to re- flect the conflicts and comprises between Chinese and Western public health awareness at that time and to explore the reasons for the conflicts as well as its results. It was found that economy and social structure were two keys to the vicissitudes of public health awareness. But because colonial medicine was limited, short and egoistic, the mod- ernization of Shanghai＇s public health awareness was not complete.
