面临当今席卷全球的"强势"文化肆意冲击"弱势"地域文化之时,相对处于"弱势"的近代中国文化所发展起来的中国现代园林又该何去何从?中国传统园林伴随着西方列强的入侵后继而衰亡,而在中国近代文化滋养下的现代园林始终未适应时代的发展。中国园林如何重生?唯有立足本土文化,继承传统元素和传统造园技法,推陈出新彰显时代特征,紧跟当代人类生活而设计以及科学技术条件的发展而发展。

With the strong tendency culture sweeping today＇ s world, where Chinese modern landscape architecture developed on the basis of relatively weak modern Chinese culture should go？ The traditional Chinese gardens started to decline with the invasion of western powers, yet modern Chinese landscape gardens nourished by modern Chinese culture had never been adapt to the development of the times. Chinese gardens could regenerate only based on local culture to inherit the traditional elements and traditional gardening techniques, innovate new ways, design following the contemporary human life, and develop with the development of science and technology conditions.
