摘要
用5-溴-2-脱氧尿嘧啶(BrdU)标记雌雄成年八哥(Acridotheres cristatellus)端脑内的新生细胞,实验鸟注射BrdU后存活2h,通过ABC免疫组织化学实验方法进行染色,观察成年雌雄八哥端脑鸣唱中枢弓状皮层粗核(RA)、端脑高级发声中枢(HVC)、前脑基底神经节中纹状体的X区(Area X)冠状切面室带区(VZ)内的新生细胞增殖差异.结果如下:1)在RA、HVC和X区冠状切面整段VZ内雄鸟新生细胞增殖能力高于雌鸟,具有明显的性双态性;2)HVC和X区冠状切面分段VZ内雄鸟的新生细胞增殖能力高于雌鸟,RA冠状切面雌雄差异不显著.结果表明:成年八哥端脑VZ不断的产生新生细胞,并且雌雄八哥有显著的差异,这可能与雄性更善于鸣啭有关.
The production of newborn cells in adult male and female Acridotheres cristatellus are investigated by using bromodeoxgufidien (BrdU) and ABC immunohistochemical methods. The birds were killed 2h later to examine BrdU la- beled cells within the ventricular zone(VZ) at the three brain levels, robust nucleus of the arcopallium(RA), high vocal center(HVC) and Area X. And then some comparison were made between male and female birds. The results reveal that: 1 ) cell proliferation within the whole VZ was significantly higher at the three brain levels in males than females; 2) there were significant differences between the male and female birds of the cell proliferation ability within the VZ at the brain levels of HVC and Area X, but no significant difference in the brain level of RA. This study indicates that the new- born cells in the Acridotheres cristatellus were originated from VZ in telencephalon, and there were significant differences between male and female birds. These may be correlated with the more complex vocal behavior of male Acridotheres cris- tatellus.
