Statistics of industrial accidents in China during the period from March to April in 2013

统计了2013年3—4月国内发生的各种生产安全事故149起,其中包括矿业事故、交通事故、爆炸事故、火灾、毒物泄漏与中毒和其他事故。统计表明,在149起事故中,交通事故占53.69%,矿业事故占13.42%,火灾占4.70%,爆炸事故占6.04%,毒物泄漏与中毒占2.68%,其他事故占19.46%。149起事故共死亡634人,伤439人。死亡人数的百分比分别为交通事故53.79%,矿业事故24.45%,火灾4.42%,爆炸事故5.05%,毒物泄漏与中毒2.05%,其他事故10.25%;受伤人数的百分比分别为交通事故65.60%,爆炸事故11.39%,矿业事故6.61%,毒物泄漏与中毒6.15%,火灾1.82%,其他事故8.43%。2013年3—4月生产安全事故发生较多的5个省分别为云南(18起)、贵州(14起)、广东(14起)、湖南(10起)、湖北(8起);死亡人数较多的5个省分别为分别为云南(77人)、贵州(75人)、吉林(66人)、广东(47人)、湖南(39人);受伤人数较多的5个省、自治区分别为云南(55人)、福建(40人)、广西(37人)、江西(35人)、四川(33人)。

The present paper reports the statistical data and analysis of industrial accidents in China during the period fromMarch to April in 2013.There are 149 accidents in total, which can be summarized and classified into six categories： mining industry, traffic, explosion, leakage and poisoning, fire, and the others. Of all the 149 acc-i dents, the percentages of the six categories can be illustrated according to their frequency order 13.42%, 53.69%, 6.04%, 2.68%, 4.70%, and 19.46% respectively. The total casualty is 634 and the percentages for the six categories are 24.45%, 53.79%, 5.05%, 2.05%, 4.42%, and 10.25% respectively. The number of the wounded is 439 and the percentages for the six categories are 6.61%, 65.60%, 11.39%, 6.15%, 1.82%, and 8.43% respectively. The analyses of the statistics show that the top five provinces with the highest accident number are： Yunnan （18 acc-i dents）, Guizhou （14）, Guangdong （14）, Hunan （10）, and Hubei （8）. The top five provinces with the largest casualty number are： Yunnan （77 dead）, Guizhou（75）, Jilin（66）, Guangdong（47）, and Hunan （39）. And the top five provinces and autonomous region with the biggest wounded number are： Yunnan （55 wounded）, Fujian （40）, Guangxi（37）, Jiangxi（35） and Sichuan（33）.
