The Construction Dimensions of Socialist Democracy with Chinese Characteristics

中国特色社会主义民主是区别于西方民主的社会主义民主形式,是符合中国国情的民主。当下中国的民主政治建设应遵循三个维度:在民主主体上实现人民民主与党内民主的互动,在民主形式上实行选举民主与协商民主的结合,在体制改革上实现宪政民主与基层民主的协调发展。

Democracy with Chinese characteristics is the socialist democracy different from the western democratic forms and in accordance with China’s national conditions.The current construction of democratic politics in China should follow three dimensions as follows： try to achieve the interaction between people’s democratic and inner-party democracy;try to achieve the combination between electoral democracy and deliberative democracy;try to achieve the harmonious development between constitutional democracy and democracy at the grassroots level.
