一种用于锂电池充电IC的电池检测电路 被引量:3

摘要 针对智能充电器芯片待机时需要重复进行电池接入/移除检测、待机功耗较大的缺点,设计了一种新颖的利用锂电池温敏电阻端触发的电池接入/移除检测电路。该电路已被集成到一款基于UMC 0.35μm CMOS工艺的单节锂电池充电芯片上。测试结果表明,该芯片能迅速地检测出不同电量锂电池的接入/移除情况,相比传统的接入/移除检测电路,极大地降低了充电器待机时的功耗。 A Li-ion battery detection method was presented to reduce standby power consumption due to repeated battery detection.A novel temperature sensitive resistor triggered battery detection circuit was implemented in a single linear charger IC based on UMC's 0.35 μm CMOS process.Experimental results showed that the chip could quickly detect access or removal of the Li-Ion battery.Compared with the conventional battery detection method,the proposed circuit reduced standby power consumption of the charger significantly.
