As a special legal text, there are certain translation models and principles in the process of Chinese-English translation about normative documents of local government. Based on the meaning and connotations of the normative documents of local government, through the analyses of its Chinese-English translation, the article explores the regular patterns and principles of the translation about Chinese normative documents, and explains the related problems in the process of translating.
