With the integration of information technology into education, the research of all-encompassing teaching materials is a hot topic. Based on interpreting the concept of all-encompassing teaching materials supported by virtual reality technology, the paper explores the function of all-encompassing teaching materials in college English speaking teaching reform in terms of learning environment, mode and evaluation. Therefore, a reference for college English speaking curriculum system reform is provided.
