标记理论视角下母语迁移对人名转喻习得的影响

A Study on the Impact of L1 Transfer on Acquisition of Metonymic Personal names from the Perspective of Markedness

Eckman的"标记差异假说"为母语迁移对目的语习得所产生的影响提供了一种新的解读方式。在人名转喻习得的过程中,中国的英语学习者常常感到吃力,原因在于英语转喻人名是标记性的,而对应的汉语表达是无标记的。人名转喻背后文化的巨大差异是导致汉语对学习者人名转喻习得产生负迁移的根源。

Eckman＇s Markedness Differential Hypothesis provides a new angel to understand impact of L1 transfer on acquisition of metonymie personal names. It is not easy for Chinese learners to acquire metonymic personal names because English metonymic personal names are marked while the corresponding Chinese expressions are unmarked. The cultural difference between English and Chinese is a source of negative transfer of Chinese on acquisition.
