我国上市商业银行竞争力探析——基于16家银行年报数据的分析

A Tentative Analysis on the Competitiveness of Chinese Listed Commercial Banks——Based on the Data of 16 Banks' Annual Reports

基于单纯依靠财务指标对市场经济条件下的上市商业银行竞争力进行评价所存在的诸多缺陷,结合因子分析法和主成分分析法,综合选取作为反映银行竞争力的14项代表性指标,对16家上市商业银行的竞争力进行综合评价,可以发现,四大国有商业银行在竞争力方面仍具优势,其他商业银行的市场成长能力较为突出。因此,强化经营管理与风险控制、优化资产规模结构及运行机制,对于银行实现盈利目标和提升内生增长能力至关重要。

There are many defects in relying solely on financial indicators to evaluate the competi-tiveness of commercial banks under the conditions of the market economy. Combined with factor analysis and principal component analysis,this paper selects 14 representative indexes which can reflect a bank＇s competitiveness to evaluate the 16 listed commerical banks comprehensively. It can be found that the 4 stated-owned commerical banks still enjoy superiority in competitiveness while other commercial banks are relatively prominent in market growth ability. Therefore, it is crucial for banks to achieve the profit target and enhance the ability of endogenous growth by strengthening management and risk control and optimizing the asset size and structure and opera- tion mechanism.
