Mathematics Modeling Contest to Promote New Exploration on Mathematics Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职高等数学的改革应面向未来,适应生产和科学技术的发展,旨在推动高职生素质教育。通过引入数学建模教学,可以培养学生解决实际问题的能力。本文从数学建模竞赛分析了高职数学教学改革的三个重要方面:1.适当增减原有的教学内容;2.开设数学建模课;3.增加数学实验。

The mathematics teaching reform in higher vocational college should adapt to the development of science and technolo- gy and aims to promote quality education. The introduction of mathematics modeling teaching may train the students＂ ability to solve the actual problem. This article analyzed three important aspects about mathematics educational reform from mathematics modeling competition： first, adding and reducing original course content; second, starting mathematics modeling class; third, increasing mathematics experiment.
