The Chinese new government's diplomatic layout is in full swing in just a few months, which shows that the attitude of China's diplomacy is more active. Specif ic to the Latin American visit of President Xi Jinping, the f irst question needed to answer is 'why choose the three countries-Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico and Costa Rica'. Xi Jinping's visit to Trinidad and Tobago is Chinese President’s f irst visit to the English Caribbean in the history, which embodies the further expansion of China's diplomatic radiating surface. Choosing Costa Rica reflects the different traits between the two countries in the China-Latin American relationship, namely the cooperation has realized the extraordinary speed. Choosing Mexico as the visit of the target countries of Latin America, on the one hand, a positive response to the will of the Mexican government of strengthening relations with China, on the other hand, a strong signal released to improve the structure of bilateral trade and investment. The diplomacy of leaders of the Chinese government has covered almost all Latin America in less than 2 years. Such a high frequency of leaders’ visit shows the region in Chinese diplomacy has been further strengthened.
