任何小说都存在于时空之中,同时又要表现时空,这似乎是一个惯例。20世纪法国最伟大的小说家马塞尔.普鲁斯特在其代表作《追忆似水年华》中独辟蹊径,采用追忆的方式表现时空,空间成了一块块碎片,而时间则被赋予了毁坏和拯救的双重力量,并且两者在追忆中相互渗透、相互影响。特别是无意识记忆,从意识深处唤起既不可再现、客观上又无法逆转的时空,从而在心里上获得一种永恒的感觉,时间在空间里复活。
