内藤湖南中国观的变与不变

Changes and stability of Naito Konan's Views on China

从甲午战争到民国前期,内藤湖南的中国观既有时代性的变化,又有主体性的固守。内藤湖南在甲午战争初期产生了"中国未必守旧"的模糊认识,但在第一次中国旅行时演变为"中国守成论",又在辛亥革命后正式形成了系统的"中国解体论",进而演变为"日本兴中论"。近代日本汉学的危机意识、中国的现实状况与日本文化的主体性选择是造成内藤湖南中国观变与不变的三大要素。

Naito Konan’s perspective on China showed aged changes as well as initiative persistence between the First Sino-Japanese War and the beginning period of ROC.Soon after the breakout of the First Sino-Japanese War,Naito Konan obtained a vague opinion that China was not necessarily conservative.However,this opinion was changed into the view that China was conservative during his first travel in China,and then systematically evolved into his theory that China was disintegrated.Finally,Naito Konan’s main theory that Japan could support Chinese renaissance came into being on the basis of previous three opinions.According to the inspection of relative references,it could be revealed that the crisis confronted by Sinology in Japan,the reality of China,and the subjectivity of Japanese culture were the three most important factors leading to Naito Konan’s contradictory perspectives on China.
