摘要
随着异构网络技术的快速发展,移动通信技术将迎来大的变革,3GPP也把对异构网络的相关研究和标准制定做为重点工作之一。本文介绍了3GPP在R11阶段对异构网络移动性能的研究和所提出的异频低功率小区探测优化技术。
The revolution of the mobile communications technology will take place with the rapid development of heteroge- neous network technology. The research and standardization on heterogeneous network is now one of the major works in 3GPP. In this paper, research on mobility enhancement of heterogeneous network by 3GPP at Release 11 stage is introduced. The proposed techniques to improve the detection process of inter-frequency small cell are also studied.
