Translation Aesthetics and the Translation of EST

翻译美学作为一种蓬勃发展的翻译理论,正逐渐运用到各种体裁的文章的翻译中。以往翻译美学更多地被运用到文学翻译中,随着其应用范围的扩大,科技英语翻译也越来越多的应用到了翻译美学。从准确美、简洁美和逻辑美三个方面探讨了科技英语翻译中的美学体现。

As a developing translation theory, translation aesthetics is being applied to the translation of different kinds of articles. Translation aesthetics used to be applied in the translation of literature works most, but as it expan- ding its application,it has gradually been applied in the translation of English for science and technology （EST）. This paper will study the aesthetic presentation in the translation of EST from three perspectives--the beauty of ac- curacy, the beauty of concise and the beauty of logic.
