The Feasibility Study on College Students’ Listening and Speaking Improvement by Watching American Soap Opera

摘要 目前大学生普遍喜欢看美剧。美剧以其炫目的场面、跌宕的情节、地道的美音深深吸引了众多大学生。针对这一现状,探索通过美剧提升大学生英语听说能力的策略,并在实践过程中检验和反馈,得出通过看美剧能有效地提升大学生英语听说能力,具有一定可行性。 Nowadays, the college students were attracted by the American Soap Opera,which has fantastic scene, un- predictable plot and beautiful accent. Facing this situation, this paper explores the methods of improving college students' listening and speaking abilities by watching American soap opera,and applies the method into practice. The conclusion was that it is feasible and effective for college students to improve their listening and speaking by watching American soap opera.
