对《小逻辑》中“潜在”一词翻译的商榷

黑格尔《小逻辑》"存在论"第一句的译文是"存在是潜在的概念",其中"潜在"对应的德语为"an sich"一词,根据存在范畴作为逻辑学开端的直接性、无差别性、无规定性,存在只是存在本身,因此没有必要用"潜在"一词代替"自身"或"自在",应按德文本直译这句话,即"存在这一概念只是它自身"。

＂Being is the concept of just itself only＂ is the first sentence of Hegel＇ s Logic. Itself corresponds to sich in this sentence, but Chinese scholars translate it to potential. Being makes the beginning of logic that is characterized by immediacy, indifference and indeterminate, so there is no need to replace the word sich or itself by potential.
