学习者翻译语料库中英语被动句汉译特点及其成因研究

A Translationese Study of English Passive and Its Major Causes in PACCEL

基于中国大学生英汉笔译语料库,从对比语料库语言学视角出发,考察英语被动式对应的汉语译文中存在的典型学习者①特点。研究表明,学习者译文中存在大量"被"字句、译文类型单调、过于"忠实"原文等特征。这些特征与英汉语言差异、"源语透过效应"、学习者自身语言能力的局限有关。研究结果对深入了解学习者习得英语被动式具有一定的意义。

Based on the Parallel Corpus perspective of contrastive corpus linguistics of Chinese EFL Learners, the present research, from the investigates the characteristic ＂learnerese~ in the translation of English passive. The result shows that learners tend to employ high percentages of ＂bei＂ construction and their translations appear monotonous and mechanically faithful. By analyzing its causes, the present study proposes that these translationese may be caused by the linguistic differences between Chinese and English, ＂source language shining through＂ and the lower competence of Chinese learners. The result of the present study gives us further insight into the acquisition of English passives in EFL learners.
