“小确幸”一词的意思是微小而确实的幸福，源自日本著名作家村上春树的随笔集《兰格汉斯岛的午后》。该书是八十年代杂志专栏文章结集而成，纯粹是短篇散文。薄薄的散文集每篇都配著安西水丸的开页插画。这一词由村上春树在国内的“御用翻译”翻译家林少华直译后大热而进入现代汉语。
