近几年来,透明粉末喷涂已经取得了很大的进展。过去,透明度、平整性和总体外观都及不上清漆面层。现在,在平的表面上,平整性虽尚有不及,但是,与任何类似的涂装相比,已能喷出良好的透明面层而不落人后。就大部分零件来说,即使是表面稍弯曲的零件,透明粉末涂层已可与任何透明漆比美。在几乎任何其他方面的比较中,事实证明,粉末涂层的性能相同,甚至更好。本文以黄铜、镀黄铜铸件或青铜物上喷涂透明粉末涂料并按BHMA标准与工业认可的测试方法测试的情况为例,探讨透明粉末喷涂的现状。

Clear powder coatings have come a long way in the last few years.In the past, clarity, somoothness and overall appearance could not match that of a good liquid finish.Althougb still not as smooth on a flat surface, a good clear powder finish does not have to take a back seat to any comparablee coating.With the majority of parts, namely those with even a slightly curved surface, clear powder coatings are as smooth as any liquid clear.In almost any othey comparison, powder will prove equal or superior.This paper will explore the present status of clear powder coatings as it applies to brass, brass plated dastings or bronze materials tested against BHMA and industry approved test procedures.
