摘要
网络流行语是社会、文化和科技发展的产物,是一种文化现象。从语言的角度来看,这些词汇很多是源于汉语本身独特的文字魅力,也有不少源于英语,其共同特点是流行时尚又不乏诙谐幽默,反映着当今五光十色的社会现象,因此如何准确翻译这些网络流行语成为翻译工作者在新时期面对的新课题。网络流行语的英译方法可分为直译、意译、词类转换法和音译等。研究网络流行语的英译方法,对语言的规范化有一定的现实意义。
