艺术激活乡村——中国新农村建设的一条蹊径

Arts Activates Countryside—A Remote Trail of the New Rural Construction in China

迅速的城市化进程在改变乡村旧貌的同时,也带来了湮没传统文化、破坏生态环境、扼杀地域个性等诸种恶果。出于对"城市化"本身作出的深刻反思和城乡等值的社会理想,一些怀有人文抱负的当代艺术工作者,积极探索着"艺术激活乡村"的独特方式,为新农村建设开辟一条有效的蹊径。这些经验在中国是否具有推广价值,尚需实践来证明。但是这些尝试不断地提示着我们,除了物质建设,必须深入到人文层面去思考"城市化"的真实内涵和发展方向,思考国人与土地之间的关系,思考究竟什么样的生活才能真正令农民幸福。

Editor＇ s notes：The rapid process of urbanization has changed the traditional features of rural and at the same time brought many negative consequences, such as annihilation of traditional culture, destruction of the ecological environment, killing the geographical personality, etc. With the deep thinking of urban- ization and the social ideal to make the rural having the same value as urban, many contemporary artists and curators, work actively to explore an unique way of ~use arts to activate countryside~＇ .
