The construction of the special collection database is an important measure to improve and enrich the quality of library collections for local universities. Building local cultural special collection database is an important way to fulfill the functions better on providing services for local cultural development of local university libraries. In this paper, the author makes some related discussion on the case of constructing the Special Database for the Website of West Jilin Grassland Culture cultural network database construction.
